WANNA SEE A MOVIE THAT HITS YOUR MIND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN? WATCH THIS OSCAR-WINNING SHORT:
So the story begins with waking up of a boy named Carter James who stayed last night at a girl's place named Perri. Carter wakes up, has some funny conversations with Perri, tells her about his dog, and gets out for home after a chit-chat because the dog was all alone there. After coming out from the apartment, Carter stops there for some seconds to lite up a cigarette. But then a cop suspects him and starts to argue about it. He asked about his cigarette if it has drugs in it then asked about the money that Carter slips while liting up the cigarette. Though Carter explains to him that he's a cartoonist and on-demand right now, he has this money, but the police named Mark still tries to arrest him. The lady shopkeeper from the street records this incident and keeps telling to leave Carter as he did not do anything. But the police didn't care about her words rather other policies came and they all got up onto Carter and eventually, after a lot of scuffles, he dies by choking.
In the next scene, Carter again wakes up on the same bed with the same girl, which all felt like a déjà vu to him. Every moment is now happening the same as the dream he had. Then again after coming out of the apartment, he gets shot by mark. Then he again wakes up.
This plot goes and goes on.
The movie has a remarkable storyline which everyone has to enjoy. The acting, cinematography, scene presentation are also admirable.
While watching the movie, every time you expect that incident to be real after a term ends but it turns out to be the dream again. You will be totally confused but still hopes for the ending of this time loop. That's the success of this movie. The black man issue in a white man country has been arrested in this movie as well by presenting Carter as a black-skinned man and mark as a white cop. Carter sticks to the time loop and the storyline goes the same more than 100 times. Still, Carter tries to reach his dog whom he loves the most!
Could Carter reach home? Or the whole thing was a dream? I know you all are thinking about these questions and to know about these, watch the movie. You won't regret it.
