Today I'm going to discuss about an excellent documentary named My Octopus Teacher. This is the winner of the BEST DOCUMENTARY section of this 93rd oscars.This was released on 4th of  September(2020),directed by James Reed and 

Pippa Ehrlich and produced by Craig Foster. This

I won't tell much because the actual beauty of this documentary is in the combination of the cinematography and the information from all over it. So you just have to watch it! 

This is a story of a man, Foster, who decides to start to document his experience of free diving in the part of atlantic ocean,(False bay, near cape town, South Africa). In this expedition he observes a mystical incident so he gets attracted by that specific creature who was doing it. This was a young octopus. There was no such information about the camouflage techniques of an octopus in scientific papers. This grows his interest a way much for this topic. By going every single day to meet her,Foster eventually wins her trust and became her friend. He captures the routine of that octopus very closely. He had been the witness of the stages of this octopus till her death. After that he finds himself too much sensitive towards wild life and starts to coach his son for the same work. While exploring the sea world,the father-son duo

even discoverd some little octopuses whom they considered to be the babies of that octopus.
