Mohua Maitra: Strength of Mamata Banerjee in National Politics and A Myth to India’s 48.04% of Women’s Population.

In a country like India where the national literacy rate of women is 53.7% and West Bengal’s separate
the literacy rate was 70.54% as per reports in 2011, Mohua Maitra emerged in the Indian political diaspora
as the biggest strength of Mamata Banerjee when TMC's ship of party strength almost was sinking in the
mid of gigantic waves.
Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, USA, and a specialization in Mathematics and Economics helped Mrs. Maitra getting a lavish job as an investment banker where money and time collided flawlessly. In 2010, she joined Trinamool Congress Party and started investing her time and energy for
Mamata Banerjee and the latter’s party.
Krishnanagar District, having a 90.36% total literacy rate among all other districts in West Bengal and
88.11% literacy rate stands for the women in the respective place. Mr.s Maitra, being a Member of the
Parliament from this jurisdiction received massive support from the people. But her fearless image was not restrained only within her people. Her first speech given on 25th Jun 2019 was regarding NRC and
CAA took over many hearts in the country. She started being praised for her fiery nature and many people within the Parliament and beyond the Parliament supported her appearance that led to an appraisal for the TMC supremo, Mamata Banerjee.
In an interview with Bhakt(Akash) Banerjee (A pretentious journalist filled with lame satires), she
could distinguish between Bengali women and other women in the different parts of the country,
saying, “Bengali fathers will eat one meal a day but will suffer to teach his daughter till Masters in an
university unlike other parts of India where women reaching 12th standard is enough to get married)”.
The most ignorant phase in her comment is just a very simple question, “why would a Bengali father have to
starve to get his daughter's education done living in West Bengal?”.
Factually she was right but morally she crossed the boundary of respecting every woman irrespective of their educational degrees no matter where they do belong. The question is not, what is there on
the plate, the question is what should be on the plate. West Bengal, still l the moment, holds the first position as the poorest state as per ratio which is 20% according to the o Tendulkar committee's report presented by the Planning Commission. Hence, Mohua Maitra is a myth to the majority population of
women in this country whose pseudo-feminists image got immense popularity and helped Mamata
Banerjee to gain anti-Modi support in the country.
