Delhi Government to provide assistant of Rs5000 to the taxi and auto driver.

 

New Delhi: Delhi Government will provide free ration for two months to 72 lakh ration cardholders, and give financial support of Rs 5,000 to Auto rickshaw and Taxi driver in the city to fight against coronavirus. 

 Delhi's CM Arvind Kejriwal said " Auto and taxi drivers are an integral part of Delhi's transport system. During the lockdown, the livelihood of auto and taxi drivers is adversely affected. Like last year, this time too, we have decided to give an assistance amount of ₹ 5,000 to the auto and taxi drivers of Delhi."
