KKR VS CSK VIVO IPL 2021 MATCH 15 PREVIEW:
![]() |
Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders set to take on Chennai Super Kings in Match No. 15 on Wednesday, 21st April at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. KKR is placed at 5th position with only one win from three matches whereas CSK is placed at 3rd position with two wins from three matches. Dinesh Karthik will be playing his 200th IPL match. CSK all-rounders will play an important role once again for them. Moeen Ali has scored 108 runs and picked up 4 wickets. Sam Curran has picked up 3 wickets so far and can contribute valuable runs in lower order as well. Ravindra Jadeja has picked up 2 wickets and his fielding will be a treat to watch. CSK will depend upon these three to continue their winning streak. KKR middle-order batting has been a big concern for them. They will depend once again on their top order to get maximum runs on board. Nitish Rana is their top scorer with 155 runs.
Kolkata Knight Riders:
Probable Playing XI: Nitish Rana, Shubhman Gill, Rahul Tripathi, Eoin Morgan(C), Sunil Narine/ Shakib Al Hasan, Dinesh Karthik(Wk), Andre Russell, Pat Cummins, Harbhajan Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Varun Chakravarthy.
Key Players:
Harbhajan Singh – He has troubled Faf du Plessis and Suresh Raina in past and is expected to pick up wickets in this fixture.
Andre Russell – He has scored 88 runs off just 36 balls against CSK in 2019.
Chennai Super Kings:
Probable Playing XI: Faf du Plessis, Ruturaj Gaikwad/Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni(C)(Wk), Sam Curran, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar.
Key Players:
Moeen Ali – He is in terrific form with the bat and is expected to destroy KKR bowlers.
Dwayne Bravo – He can trouble KKR batsmen in death overs.
What to expect?
KKR has a very poor record in Wankhede with just 1 win out of 9 matches and their middle-order batsmen are out of form so we are expecting CSK to win this battle comfortably.
My Fantasy Team:
Wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik
Batsmen Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina
All Rounders Moeen Ali(C), Andre Russell(VC), Sam Curran
Bowlers Deepak Chahar, Dwayne Bravo, Varun Chakravarthy
