European Union slams china for border dispute with other nations.

The European Union has called out China for endangering peace in the south china sea. The union has reiterated its strong opposition to the unilateral actions that could undermine the regional stability and international rules-based order.

 The EU has urged all parties to resolve disputes peacefully in accordance with the international law and to abide by a 2016 tribunal ruling. The ruling in favor of the philippines, had rejected most of china's claim to sovereignty in the sea.

 Beijing has rejected the 2016 tribunal ruling as null and void earlier this week the philippines protested china's failure to withdraw what it called as threatening votes manned by maritime militia around the disputed woodson reef .

The EU spokesperson said in a statement that tensions in the south china sea including the recent presence of large chinese vessels at woodson reef endanger peace and stability in the region.
