Google launched people card

Delhi 11 August : Want to add your name and profile to Google ? If you serach for a famous person in Google, you will find some rich cards or knowledge panels. 

For example, If I search for Norendra modi, I can find all his information as shown on the right-side. This kind of search presence was not possible for a regular user unless they are not running a business in their name and listing the same on Google.

 People card is a new feature by Google, which you and I can use to show our profile cards in Search results as shown in the official blog As of now people card can be created and edited from Mobile and desktop.

 But you can view the People results only from a mobile device with the official Google search app. So let’s see how we can create a People card and add yourself to Google.

 To begin, update the Google Search app on your mobile and launch it. Now, look for the term "Add me to Search" You will find "Add yourself to Google Search" option as shown here. Click on "Get started" and sign-in to your Google account. 

Here you can add all your information, that you want to show publicly in Google search results. You can put your Bio, contact number, social media profiles, occupation, etc.

 The stared fields are compulsory. As said earlier, you can do this from the desktop too. I'm taking the desktop mode as I find it easy editing my information and profile picture in this way.

Once you complete the edits, you get a chance to preview everything. And save the card. You can do it either on desktop or Google Search mobile application.

 Click on "View Search Card" to see your newly cerated People profile on Google. The changes may not be visible for the public as soon a you do this. I guess that Google has some review process after you submit " Add me to Search" information. In my case, I can't see my people card in serach results If I log-out from the Google mobile app. But It may appear after a few days.

Here I'm searching the profile for "Amit Bhwani" a popular blogger and video creator. You can see a tab "People" in the search results with his name listing under it. If you click on that, the tab looks similar to that Google has given in their official announcement. 

It may take a few days for the Google People cards activated for you if you are not a well-known creator or social media personality.
