US BAN TIK TOK

 WASHINGTON 25 JULY: China's global soft power tick-tock for some, it is a harmless video-sharing app a platform for hidden talent but most see it for what it is a platform for vulgarity and a national security threat. 

weeks after tick-tock was officially banned in India it is staring at another ban this time in the united states.

 the same security concerns about tick tock are picking up steam in u.s. there are fears that the data of American users is falling into Beijing's hands. earlier this week u.s Senate panel approved a bill that bars federal employees from downloading and using tick tock.

 it is titled the no tick-tock on government devices act clearly the Americans do not like being subtle the new act very categorically. states that no member of our congress no congressional employee or any employee of any government corporation will be allowed to download tick-tock and not just tick-tock they should not download any app developed by tick-tock's parent company by dance.

 so far this ban is only for government employees but there are growing demands that it should be expanded to cover every American citizen. now here's something that you must know America is tick tock's third-largest market. it contributed to eight percent of tick tock's overall installations between January and June.

 this year tick-tocks owners cannot afford another ouster so they have decided to present a more friendly face they're injecting more cash to win public support tick-tock has introduced a 200 million dollar fund to reward American subscribers.

 it is called the tick-tock creator fund it will be open to applications starting the 18th of august tick-tocks owners say that under this fund they will offer payouts to influencers who have more than a certain number of followers.

 they're also promising to help them collaborate on paid campaigns with brands what a classic way to firefight security, concerns offering more money, and influencing influencers well. this is just part one of tick-tock strategy cash injections.
