India ranked 43rd on World competitiveness index .



Lausanne ,Switzerland : India ranked 43re in world competitiveness index , Singapore is ranked 1 . India continues to remain ranked 43rd in this list . This list publish by IMD business school . So the question is what is this list and why india's rank is low . Lets find it -

WHAT IS COMPETITIVENESS OF A COUNTRY ?

Competitiveness is the degree to which a nation can,under free trade and fair market conditions ,produce goods and services which meet the test of international markets, while people long term income also add on the time .

WHY INDIAN'S RANK ON 43RD ?

India continues to remain ranked 43rd on the Institute of management development (IMD) list , with some reason like poor infrastructure and insufficient education . India was ranked 41st on since 1989 to 2016. But in 2017 its rank 45th ,then 2018 improve 44th and then 2019  43rd . India has moved down in like Taxes, Exchange rate stability, GDP growth, Corroption .

WHERE INDIA SHOULD IMPROVED?

  • High tech export 
  • Foreign currency reserves
  • Quality education 
  • political stability
  • Don't mismatch politics and business .
Head of the IMD busness school  said India continues to struggle on the list and the recent country rating by Moody's  and the IMF .
" We again emphasize the traditional weaknesses of india- poor infrastructure , an important deficit in educationinvestment ,and a health system , that does not reach everywhere ."
about singapore which moved to top rank last year , the IMD said , singapor is good in each of doing business for the availability of skilled labour and its cutting -edge technological infrastructure .
