Flood situation in North Bengal

As per IMD report,dated 24th june,2020,very heavy to extremely  heavy rainfall activity can beseem all North Bengal districts from 24th june to 28th june.

Irrigation Department sources said all the disaster response forceshave been asked to be ready.

All line department be informed to prepared for any action at a short notice.The Quick Response teams said that they are ready for movement at short notice to support in case of emergency. All the district  control rooms function round the clock, to keep watch on enhance rainfall and keep their track  of weather forecast through IMD weather alerts.The landside prome zones in hills warned about enhance rainfall and said that predictions and evacuation should be carried out well in time as per the district disaster management.
