CHINESE SPONSORS Vs. BCCI

COOCHBEHAR JUNE: There is no prospect of easing tension on the Ladakh- china border. Meanwhile, calls have come from various quarters of the country to boycott china. Last night the Board Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the location of Chinese companies involved in Indian cricket, including the IPL will be reconsidered. A meeting of the IPL Governing Council has been called for next week.

VIVO, a mobile manufacturer has been the title sponsor of the IPL for three years.
That's where vivo's sponsorship deal will be discussed. The Indian Cricket Board earns 440 crores every year from VIVO as the main sponsor of the IPL. The five-year contract will end in 2022. But the BCCI does not want to wait so long. They says that the country is respected first. So we want to remove VIVO from the title sponsor out of respect for the sentiments of the countrymen. And we want to see a non- Chinese company in it's place.

Even, Raina and Harbhajan Singh two of Indian cricketers, have called for a boycott of Chinese content for all Indians.
