Patanjali's founder, yoga teacher Ramdev, says the drugs "Coronil and Swasari" have been developed based on research and experiments on 260 patients across the country. Many countries are trying to develop vaccines, but no one has yet been able to provide scientific evidence for an alternative cure for COVID-19.

In a press conference at Haridwar, Ramdev announced that the first ayurvedic medicine had been developed through the joint efforts of Patanjali Research Center and NIMS. Which has passed the test. Ramdev also said that his company is proud of this.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has claimed that it will not only increase immunity. It will also help in eradicating the disease. At a function in Haridwar on Tuesday, Ramdev claimed that his company had developed the first ayurvedic medicine to fight coronavirus.

“The whole country and the world was waiting for a drug or vaccine for Corona. We are proud to announce that the first ayurvedic, clinically-controlled experimental and research-based medicine has been developed through the joint efforts of Patanjali Research Center and NIMS, ”Ramdev told ANI.

“Today we are launching Covid drugs, Coronil and Swasari. We conducted two experiments, the first clinically controlled study, which took place in many other cities, including Delhi and Ahmedabad. 270 patients have included in this test and 100 percent of them recovered. We were able to control the corona and its complications. After that, a comprehensive clinical control test was conducted, ”claimed Ramdev.

Patanjali has worked on this project in collaboration with the National Institute of Medical Sciences or NIMS University in Jaipur.

“With the help of NIMS, Jaipur, we conducted clinical, controlled studies on 95 patients. The biggest thing that came out of this was that within three days, 69 percent of the patients had recovered, and had gone from positive (case) to negative. Not only that, in seven days, 100% of the people have become negative, ”said Ramdev, adding that the necessary approval has been obtained from the concerned authorities to test the drugs on the patients.

The World Health Organization has warned of an alternative cure. "Some Western, traditional or home remedies may provide relief and reduce the symptoms of Covid-19, but there is no evidence that those drugs can prevent or cure the disease," Hu said. To prevent or cure COVID-19, the WHO does not recommend any medication, including antibiotics, or self-medication.

Ramdev claimed that during the clinical trial, two drugs named Coronil and Swasari were applied to 260 patients. All the patients have recovered. He further claims that his company has been able to control the complications of coronavirus by applying this drug. He also said that clinical tests were arranged in several cities, including Delhi and Ahmedabad.

Acharya Balakrishna, Patanjali's chief executive officer, said Coronakit was also being brought to market at Tk 545. It can only be used for 30 days. But now the kit of that medicine is not available anywhere. The kit will be provided to all Patanjali shops within the next seven days, Ramdev said.
