MS Dhoni anauance retairtment from international cricket

15 August : A bad news for  M S Dhoni fan ,and also all cricket fans ,he has just announced his retirement from international cricket ahead of the 2020.

 indian premier league in a style typical of his understated demeanor on the cricket field ms dhoni announced the decision on his instagram account. dhoni's future had been a topic of much debate after the 2019 world cup and he had not made himself available for selection ever.

 since then dhoni played a valiant knock against new zealand in the world cup semi-final last year but his run out for 50 hastened india's exit and ultimately proved to be his three fiftieth and final odi innings dhoni retires with over 16 000 international runs, but he will always be remembered as a player who shattered stereotypes in indian cricket.

 he made his debut in the year 2004 as an attacking batsman but soon matured into one of the finest finishers in white ball cricket . cricket experts had been expecting his retirement but how significant is this announcement to the indian cricket team.

 now well i think you know what mahindra singh dhoni only has done and i have tracked ms dhoni's career ever since he burst on to international cricket in 2004- 2005. he's always akansha tried to keep himself very away from the hype and hoopla that surrounds indian cricket  and you know everyone seem to be suggesting that you know he would announce his retirement the moment india crashed out of that 2019 world cup.

 but imagine it's been a year since then we have not heard anything but the signs were there the signs were there when he when he made himself unavailable for selection.

  in subsequent or subsequent to us when he was dropped from the BCCI contracts for this year so that's ms dhoni style and typically you know no bravado no press conference yesterday he landed in chennai to link up with his chennai super king's ipl team again you know all the attention there.

 on only landing with his team no fuss and then suddenly on a saturday evening we sort of get this instagram post which says i'm done that's ms dhoni and i think the thing about ms tony is that yes the tributes will pour in yes people will sort of  all those great times but i think ms dhoni has straight stayed true to his game.

he's gone out on his own terms, he's gone out when no one expects it everyone probably thought he'll play the ipl and then we could get a grand announcement no fuss about ms sony that's the way he's played his cricket ,

that's the way he's always done things retiring on his own terms that's a good way to actually put it across uh digi in retrospect how would you view dhoni scary and the impact that he had on his successor.

 someone like even virat kohli let's you know when you look at ms dhoni a ms dhoni wasn't your conventional cricketer let's not forget the time when ms dhoni  came into the indian team you still had the team dominated by the likes of sachin tendulkar saw of ganguly virinder savage, anil these were all grades of indian cricket at that time point of time but dhoni very much like adam gilchrist before him .

 the australian wicket keeper sort of changed the game you know this aggressive way of playing his cricket and then the transition no one gave this indian team a chance in hell when they went to the 2017 world cup 2007.

 icc world t20 but dhoni in his first interest captain goes out with a very young team  which is i think yuvraj singh and virendra savage were the only two senior players in that team goes on and wins it and from then on he became the man with the midas touch .

you know just go back to that world cup this some  decisions which you would not expect from a normal captain bowling joginder sharma in that final over against pakistan ,in the bowl out against pakistan in the group phases actually going with three non-regulars .

you know going with someone like a robin ottawa who never bowled a ball in international cricket so he was an out of the box cricketer who was a very good man manager as well he you know he sort of got this team together especially after the  bitter  turmoils of the indian team post the greg chapel era sort of jailed very well with the seniors made them all comfortable.

 but yet was his own man never cared about life away from you know outside of cricket did his own thing joined the army loved his shooting loved playing football ms dhoni in a nutshell was a man who had the weight of indian cricket and perhaps the attention of india on his shoulders but he never allowed it to show absolutely very well said and that's how we'll actually remember him .

We can't forget him , we always missed him in field when the DRS come .
