What does the constitution say about Article 15? Article 15(1) : This article provides that the state shall nat discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion,race,caste,sex or place of birth.
Article 15(2) : The article elaborates that no Indian citizen can be discriminated against on basis of religion,race,caste,sex,place of birth.It states that no citizen shall be denied access to shops, public restaurants,hotels,and places of public entertainment.It also adds that no citizen shall be subject to any disability, liability, restrictions or contain with the use of well,tanks,bathing ghats,roads and places of public resort maintained wholly or partly out of state funds or dedicated to the use of general public.
